The Minister of Figuilu Uses His Veto
(It is true that I said all hail the Minister of Kruisailu but I really have to eat my words now...)
I, Pyry, the Minister of Figuilu use the power of veto power as described in the holy Codex The Reilu Kerho against Olli, the Minister of Musailu's arrogant attempt to become the Minister of Transportation.
Olli's TRK profile states as followed: "Starting from July, he will also be the official TRK Minister of Transport, as in, the only one with a driver's license."
There are two reasons for my veto.
1) All the other Ministers are Minister of some-stupid-finnish-word-ilu
2) The Codex The Reilu Kerho states as followed:
"§6 There are a given amount of Ministers in TRK.
§6.1 Each founding member is a Minister for life and may not give up, forget, eat, or transfer his powers to other members.
§6.2 Other members may become Ministers.
§6.2.1 A member may apply for Ministership on the third Wednesday of any month.
He must make a formal announcement on the TRK blog on such a date stating his intentions.
§6.2.2 Then each Minister makes a challenge in his area of Ministership. The applicant must complete all challenges to be eligible for Ministership.
§6.2.3 After this, a majority of the founding members must gather in Pyry's attic to consider the matter. They then decide democratically on whether the person should become a minister. All must wear funny hats. Remember that the German hat is still reserved for Olli."
Olli didn't make an announcement on the blog on the third wednesday of a month. And he didn't complete any challenges. And I didn't get a chance to wear my sombrero!
Even though Olli is already a Minister I think §6.2.1 still applies.
I also think §6.1 doesn't apply to the Minister of Kruisailu (if Olli ever becomes one). It states that a Minister is a Minister for life but the Minister of Kruisailu should be the the Minister of Kruisailu only until someone else can drive too.
§6.4 Each Minister must specialise in something relevant to TRK.
I don't think driving is relevant to TRK.
Unless Olli really wants to become the Minister of Transportation, I suggest him to become the Champion of Transport or Kruisailu or something else (no need to be the Champion of some-stupid-finnish-word-ilu this time).
I don't have anything against Olli's attempt to become the Minister of Kruisailu but I think he needs to do what it takes to become one. Just declaring to be one isn't enough. What do the Minister of Juustoilu and Minister of Datailu have to say about this?

I, the Minister of Figuilu accept thy championship.
P.S. I just did 1000000 damage to Tony
Then I will veto your veto!
Hahaa, thus I have rendered all our veto powers ultimately completeley pointless in dealing with other ministers.
In terms of pyrys original point though, since it was against the codex anyway, it wouldn't have needed a veto.
Champion of whetever is fine with me.
HOWEVER, from now on, can we make an addition to the codex stating that any additions or modifications to the codex must be agreed to by all Founding Members to become valid. I didnt really know most of the things pyry just wrote there.
Also, speaking of titles. I think that it would be good that only the "Minister" part of the title holds any power, whereas whatever precedes or follows that part of the title is merely for the sake of vanity and may thus be edited by the bearer of the title as they wish.
I also propose that any other titles such as "Champion of Kruisailu" may be granted by ministers as they wish, though officialy are again only for the sake of vanity.
If we want, we can agree that titles such as "Champion of whatever" can only be awarded by a consensus of all the ministers, giving the title increased meaning. Once the rest of us get driving licences, Olli's title will seem a bit odd. For people who are the first at something, we could award titles such as. "The Founder of Kruisailu". In the same style, Tony could be awarded "Founder of MTG" for introducing the game to us. And I "Founder of DDR" for the same reason. When I return we can have a tournament to determine the "Ultimate Supreme Lord of Awesome Revolutionary Dancing" since I have a feeling I might not be the best anymore.
Sorry for writing too much. Got a bit carried away.
Can someone send me Codex TRK btw?
Sent the codex to Japan..
Sakari I agree most the stuff you wrote and I'm too lazy to write my thoughts of the stuff you wrote :P
Olli when I gleemaxed Tony, he was already at 1 life and I had been burning his 11/21 Steel Wall for 10 turns or so before I finally got my gleemax + undying flames combo. Taking it off my deck wouldn't do any difference. And whatta heck! When I blast someone with 100+ life in a gigantic multiplayer, all we can do is laugh :D
All the Ministers of TRK have now agreed Olli's Championship of Kruisailu. The new championship will be added to the holy Codex when someone feels like doing it.
Hey what is this TRK Codex? Send it to me too.
In addition I belive that the Founding members should be called the TRK Elders.
I just think it would sound better, if we are calling fellow members inferior dogs...
Do not forget that I am the master musician ín this group. Not that it means anything :D
(hmm.. how about a TRK theme song...)
§7.1.1 A member becomes a Champion when he receives recognition from all founding members.
"P.S. Pyry, I was joking."
About what?
About the theme song... First of all, does it have to be a song everyone likes? We could make our own song! Jonttu can play drums and/or keyboards, Sak can play guitar, me and Tony can sing and... Olli can play air guitar. (tai soittaa suutaan)
For the time that sakari is in japan I can do gutiar. Sakari hasn't played guitar in like 2 years so I should be at the same level as him :D. Let me take care of that.
I pretty much know the basics of all the instruments down at our house except notes for the keyboard.
"And Jonttu: TRK Elder sounds too... well, elderly. Founding member it is and since you're not one, you can't change it ;)"
Just contributing ideas...
If you want a mahtipontinen song I can make one. I just need contribution of opinions from you guys and we have to make compromises.
P.S: Tony is easily satisfied. All you need to do is improvise a drum solo and he's like: Jonttu soittaa sille pumpudumpamdamdampudum etc
P.S: Let's give olli a nokkahuilu.
